Brielle Caroline
Our sweet Brielle Caroline entered the world on April 28, 2011, (yes I know, nearly a month ago....we're a little busy around here...) at 11:38 pm. She was 8 lbs, 2 oz and 21 1/2 inches long. SOOOOO thankful for a healthy baby and for a safe delivery of a large (for me!) baby. She is soo precious and we are enjoying having her here with us!
Brielle means "the Lord is my strength"
Caroline means joy or song (and is also my sister's name)
We pray that little Brielle with come to know the Lord as her strength, that she will lean on Him always. That He will be her joy and song of salvation. That she will know life with out Him is nothing. Praise the Lord!
"Surely God is my salvation. I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD, is my strength and my song. He has become my salvation." Isaiah 12:2
I had to post this picture. It is hilarious to me! This is exactly how it went when the kids came to visit Brielle in the hospital. Moriah wanting to hold her sister and talk to her and sing to her. Emmett showed a little interesed (though limited) and Corban climbed on the windowsill nearly the entire time. ha! something to remember...that is for sure. (=

So I just thought I'd give you a look at what I looked like right before our newest addition was born. Emmett has no idea what is about to rock his world. Little did he know that within the 6 hours (i was in early labor at this point), he'd be a big brother...yikes! He so enjoyed his roll as the youngest...but alas, it will do him a world of good to be a big brother. (=

Corban turn(ed) 4!!!!
ok, so its been a while. A LONG while since we've blogged. A lot has happened in our house since december... but we'll spare you the details and skip straight the the big stuff. One of which was Corban's 4th birthday. He is all about firefighters these days. That and baseball. But he decided he wanted a firetruck birthday. On his very birthday we went to our local fire station with another dear family (whose mom was also expecting a baby...we looked rather ridiculous with 6 kids between us and both of us looking VERY pregnant). The kids LOVED the tour and getting to sit in the fire truck. We made a fire truck birthday cake for Corban's party and loved having cousins over to celebrate. (=
We're so thankful for our sweet, sensitive little man. Who actually declared to me the other day that he is now "a man!" Turning 4 must be big stuff for him. Thankful that he is still my little "man."

the Emminator is 2!!!
Ok, so its been a while since I've blogged...ok a LONG while. 4 months or so? So we've had a lot going on:
*soccer season
* homeschool (LARGE amount of time)
* pregnancy
* general craziness
who knew I'd just really not have any time to do things except laundry, and briefly check email in my free time. yikes! (=
anyways, this last week our youngest, fondly known as the Emminator (for his mischeivious antics and general destructiveness)
turned TWO! Hard to believe. We are so thankful for Emmett. He loves making his siblings laugh, being sneaky, dogs, trains, anything he can kick or through and has a serious sweet tooth. He is a blessing, and we are so thankful for him. We pray that as he continues to grow, he will not just grow physically but spiritually as well. We pray he will have another BIRTHday in which he comes to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior.

Went to Two-Toots for lunch. We waited 45 minutes in line, and Emmett was content to watch the trains the WHOLE time. If you only know how AMAZING this was....(=
In awe of the trains that deliver food.... could it get any better???! Trains and food?!

Our sweet girl turns 5!
We can hardly believe that our "little" girl is 5! It sounds cheesy, but its true, we just can't believe how fast time has gone by. And to think that everyone says it just gets faster. yikes.
We are so thankful for our sweet girl. She is growing into be a girl who loves Jesus, and tries hard to model him. She is a huge help to me, and is a wonderful big sister. We love you Moriah! May you grow into a woman of God. Continually seek after Him!

my beautiful sister was a HUGE help. She was in charge of making the candyland path.
She got Felicity (an American girl doll) from Andy and I. (it was mine growing up!) She was thrilled!!
