Emmett's 9 mnonths!

Our littlest howard turned 9 months this week. We were at the doctor's office yesterday to have shot and get checked out. He's still on the small side...even though its doesn't it look like it, he's only in the 10th percentile. He was 18lbs, 1 oz, and 26 1/2 inches long, which was the same height as at 6 months. We're hoping it was a measurement error at 6 months, and not stunted growth.
A few hightlights from this month:
1. We've made progress in the eating department!! Emmett will now eat SOME food. He loves Rice Chex, and any freeze dried fruit. Baby food (store bought or homemade) has gone by the wayside. He refused to eat anything that he cannot chew or crunch. While we are so thankful he's eating something, it can make things a little challenging, as we're always trying to find things he'll eat.
2. Emmett's army crawling at lightning speed, and especially loves to open doors that have been left slightly ajar. Such as closets and the pantry door...
3. He pulls himself up onto furniture...yikes!

Unfortunately, we've still yet to sleep at night. We're at least only getting up 2-3 times at night, but we're really hoping once he gets his eating stuff figured out that we can work on the sleep. Thanks for praying...keep it up!

Well, that's the latest, I think. We love having Emmett. He's a little more high-maintenence than our other two were, but we have so much to be thankful for. He's healthy, handsome, and such a gift. We're thankful for each child the Lord blesses us with!
